Summertime
Yesterday I went to an old fashioned fourth of July celebration with some of my dear friends from Southern California and their children. We participated in an egg toss, a whipped cream eating contest, a hula hooping contest and many other fun events. After the activities were over, we went back to a cabin perched on granite rocks at the top of a 55 step staircase and had a great dinner. After that, we watched fireworks from the deck. Next week I am going to one of my favorite lakes on earth to stay with the family of a favorite fourth grader who just left my class at the end of this year. It finally feels like summer has started.

Summer Time and the Livin' IS Easy. That sounds nice Kate.
Can you believe I got a marriage proposal . . . wow? I am so going to marry that creepy psycho or mean friend that keeps commenting anonymously on my blog. Party of the year.
Your summer would could only be better if it involved a strenuous theatrical experiment.
