school is IN
Today my 8th grade U.S. History students and I re-wrote the Declaration of Independence as a big breakup letter to England. I know it seems like turning one of our Great Nation's most sacred of documents into a joke, but it was really fun. I think they got something out of it as well.

America needs more teachers like you. The excercise isn't disrespectful: The kids will remember the point, not the gag.
What a priviledge it will be to potentially enjoy a "closer association." I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop on this deal.
I hope I'll do for French what you do for every subject you teach.
